All services on the Hope Valley are stopped currently due to a fire at New Mills South Signal Box, with all signals placed to danger at around 10:00.

There is a fire next to the track at New Mills, therefore the line is closed between Sheffield and Stockport. Emergency services are on site managing the situation. More info online. shorturl.at/eQX35

EMR have a VSTP path to Warrington Carriage Sidings which suggests they’re doubtful it’ll be resolved soon, and to ensure that Lime Street platforms aren’t blocked, there are a few trapped services west of the incident
