The problem could be more tonight. Any driver thats maybe left their personal stuff in lockers (eg car keys) might have trouble getting their stuff later to go home.
It feels that, after the initial fire, the main obstacle to redeveloping burnt-out sites in Glasgow is legal arguments between insurers. I'm sure Network Rail will be keen to get their part of the site up to scratch as soon as they can, but another site neighbouring the station has been vacant since a fire there in 1999:

Well yes, compared to the collapsed building that's burning and is burnt inside out, I'd say that the station is fine based on that photo even with some flames on the outside.

It seems the fire service are now much more aggressively attacking the fire with water pumped from the Clyde. I imagine earlier they were being somewhat cautious until the domed part of the building collapsed. Hopefully controlled now.

A lot will depend on availability of access / egress to the station too. If the Gordon St and Union St accesses are unavailable then I don't see how the station could safely operate. Hopefully a quick clear up operation, demolition of unsafe buildings and some hoarding will go up but I can't see the station opening fully on Monday.I personally prefer no apocalpytic walls of flame anywhere in my sightline, thank you very much!
What are the chances that disruption continues beyond Monday...judging by the amount of collapsing that's still going on (and then obviously the need to check the station once the fire is put out), I would imagine it's not unlikely?

That’s true I thought they were meant to be building student flats on former ABC? Surely as this is a prominent building repairs should be urgent?
