FIP Coupons - DSB

Just wondering if anyone knows if FIP coupon tickets are valid on the service from Copenhagen Airport to Copenhagen Main Station.

Sadly no - the operator is Oresundtag which is a joint venture between DSB and Veolia. They also serve the Helsingor line which is a nuisance if you plan to travel that way. The Metro also serves the Airport which might be appropriate, depending where you are staying in Copenhagen.

I am employed in the UK (ATOC/GBPR) rail industry and enjoy travel via the FIP agreement (Coupons and 50% reduction) on DSB services.

I wish to travel from Copenhagen Airport to Flensburg and I am trying to understand if a FIP coupon is valid on the line from Copenhagen Airport to Copenhagen Main Station.

Yes, you can use your FIP-coupons from Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup to Copenhagen Central Station

(Use "InterCity" or "Øresund”-trains" - FIP-coupons are not valid on the "Metro"!)

Yes, they can be used on DSB services from the airport, inc. the Bornholm Express services. I've used them many times with no problems.

You can not, however, purchase FIP discounted tickets in the Greater Copenhagen Area, which includes Helsingør. This is where some confusion arises, as some staff think all FIP facilities are banned.

Yes, you have it right I think now. FIP Coupons valid towards Hovedbanegarden from Kastrup (but not across the bridge), also all the way to Helsingor on the Oresundstag. But no FIP reduced fare validity for single fares in Copenhagen 'PTE' area, although they do seem to be valid for trips from that area to the rest of Denmark (eg. Helsingor to Roskilde). No FIP validity on the Metro.
