Hi,

Question regarding FIP Coupons, I've hunted for the answer but can't find anything definitive.

An example journey I'm looking at doing is Villach (AUT) to Zagreb, on a OBB operated IC. Would I need coupons for all 3 countries I travel through, plus reservation? As how I understand it, you don't need a reservation on OBB services, however I am travelling through countries that do require one on their IC services, despite it not being operated by their respective operator.

Thanks in advance, and if anyone knows somewhere I can get more information other than ATOC it would be greatly appreciated!

@Mag_seven - I've never done a cross-border journey like this, but at a guess, is this where the border transit points mentioned in the guide come in useful for determining which FIP coupon/ticket is required from which bit and where from/to?

I believe it shows the station that a coupon for one country is valid to in a neighbouring country. They trend to be in most cases the first station over the border.

It doesn't. You need to read pages 17 and 18 carefully (including the examples quoted), plus the actual list which seems to be from p 134 onwards.
