i have learnt my lesson but didnt intend on jumping i just didnt have the money but i realised that my statement after is a submission, i have the money saved up to pay and will do so, what do you guys think the first letter will say? and if i settle in court how much would i be looking at?

It will be initially a generic we may prosecute this offence, and a section where you can "have your say". If you want any chance of a settlement, respond to this ASAP! As FGW is not my TOC, I don't know the estimated settlement amounts for a sect 5 offence but would expect around the £200 mark.

Remember though, a settlement is purely discretion based and they may decide to take you to court and prosecute. Just sit tight and respond to any letters as quick as you can.

You can post any response you want to write to pre-prosecutions letters on here, which although we cant give legal advice, we will be willing to respond in maybe it's structure, points etc...
