Finding the Cairngorms Mountain Railway

Searching on Google Maps did little good for someone wishing to find this railway and to figure out how to get from Aviemore station. Simply put, I'm hoping to come off steam on the Strathspey and go experience Aviemore's other railway - the Cairngorms Mountain Railway. Anyone know how to get there from the station?

Google maps have it 10.5 miles from station to station, hardly walking distance.

Aye, it 's fair way from Aviemore, both "along" and "up"- the access road to the ski area is windy and steep. The bus appears to be hourly, taking 25-ish minutes

There's an hourly bus from the Station forecourt to the car park at Coire na Ciste (Base Station) - I think journey time is around 25mins
