Final journey

47370 being carried to its final resting place. It was being taken to be scrapped after sitting neglected for many years at Ipswich station. Seen on the A14 on a slow moving vehicle.

very sad,know what you feel like,why was it not put in preservation in the first place,but it may still have a chance at the scrap yard,someone may buy it for spare's or or buy parts and restore them so they can be used on other Loco's

I doubt that, as by the looks of it, it aint good condition

You are right there. I think most of the useful bits have been taken off it over the years.
