The character concerned was visiting a prisoner in an unspecified jail.

Well I can assure you that having Happy Valley being filmed in Hebden Bridge has been a right PITA. I was trapped in the pub one night as they shot about twenty takes of Ms Lancashire strolling down the street. Although of course all the rough scenes are filmed in Sowerby Bridge and Halifax.

My favourite TV scene on Grand Central trains was Rebecca Front being sacked as Labour leader en route to Bradford in "The Thick Of It" and running up and down the (many) stairs in a panic at Brighouse to return to London. If they shot that 20 times she would have expired.
