Just search for stations you are travelling from and choose the right time in the list and it'll have a bed symbol when you click the little I.

It could be the case that the website will refuse to sell a bed for a child fare as its programmed not to allow a child to share a berth with an adult stranger.

It's doing the same for me but it will let me choose an adult instead of a child ticket.

Would it be worth going to a booking office to do it?
It shows up on NRE but when you click through to FGW it doesn't show, even the Text only version doesn't work. Are child tickets allowed to be sold on sleepers?

Dont believe FGW allow unaccompanied children on the Sleeper service full stop, either in a berth or seated

I've just looked in my Old "Rail" magazines, as recalled a feature in one of them about sleepers and child tickets. I havent got a great collection just an odd magazine here and there
According to Dec 2008 edition 608 of Rail, FGW do not offer Child discount on the Night Riveira (ScotRail dont offer child discount on their sleeper services neither). This is obviously 4 years old information so may have changed.

The twit team have said that it's fine for a child to be unaccompanied on the seated portion (didn't ask about berths) and I've just asked about booking as it isn't let us at the mo. Will see what they say.

They've said that it is because it is fully reserved and shouldn't be letting adults book either.

I mentioned the fact it doesn't work for any dates. They said to either go to a ticket office or phone telesales on 08457000125 and they will be able to help. They've also told the web team of the problem.

FGW have recently changed over to the WebTIS booking engine, and code for sleeper services has just been added to support them, so this may be a bug that's been accidentally introduced.
