Train manager, its being held at Gloucester station, does that mean its for a position there? Cheers again.

Unlikely to be at Gloucester, there are only a small number of TM's at that depot and they are generally recruited from the same depot's Conductor establishment, as they are 'cross traction' - ie, they work local units as well as HST turns. I believe they have a full quota (of eight!) and there are others ready to apply when more are needed. Interviews for vacancies at Bristol are often held at Gloucester.

They use which ever location which has a spare room.

Worcester have advertised for TMs recently, Bristol is full as is Gloucester.

Any info or tips anyone? Been trying to find out a rough idea of the questions asked, but seems quite a tricky task. Don't suppose anyone could tell me or point me to a link with the info.

Looks like another Train Manager position has appeared in Swansea Landore Depot again. Already submitted an application, let's see how I do this time! Pray that there are no internal candidates to best me to the post this time! :P

There are at least 10 internal Customer Hosts and one or two Guards who have applied for these positions. However at least some of those people will be applying the internal trainee driver positions also at Swansea.
