I see FGW are actively recruiting qualified drivers.

Can anyone give me an idea of work content and routes at Par? I'm guessing it will be local stopping services? Also earliest and latest shifts? Plus anything else that may be of help.r

Routes are

Par - Newquay
Par - Penzance
Par - Plymouth
Truro - Falmouth
Liskeard - Looe
Laira depot.

All unit work, class 150 and 153 only.
Yes, all work is local stopping services, but routes are at least all very scenic.

Cant help with book on/off times im afraid.

Sounds bloody awful, but whatever floats your boat! Do XC have a Plymouth/Penzance base?

Yes, XC have a depot at Plymouth and they have been recruiting qualified drivers recently.

No depot at Pernzance though.

Re rest day patterns, Im pretty sure they are on the 4 day week (ie a long weekend every 3 weeks).
I know they have one night job at Laira depot too.
