Fgw managers interview

Hey all, just a quick note, I sat my assessment for trainee driver in Newport on the 12 of sept, I was told on the day that I had passed.
Does anybody know how long the wait usually is for a managers interview. I'm getting slightly nervous! Also to add further complications, The RAF in which I am currently employed has just offered to extent my term of engagement by 11 years.

dont gamble yr raf job for fgw they have a bad habit of pulling the plug on jobs at the last minute

Tough situation! I'm waiting for FGW on the same job.

I believe that interviews were scheduled for early October, but no one seems to have heard anything yet. I have phoned/ emailed, but haven't really got any definitive updates...

Last assessment day was 23 Sep, was told on day that successful candidates can expect interviews in October.

A big decision for you there Fordylad, I joined FGW from the RAF but didn't have much choice about leaving as I'd completed 22yrs!
