On Friday 11 June I'm travelling from Exeter St Davids to Bristol Temple Meads. Will FGW's loco-hauled service still be running from Taunton to Bristol TM? since if it is, I might change trains in Taunton just for the benefit of riding on an LHCS service.

Thanks,

Tom

I know they were just prior to the timetable change, however as I haven't been at Taunton station at the right time to see if they were still loco hauled, I can't say for certain.

I think they might be as I think their demise is to do with the rolling stock moves, where the 142's go North & 150's come down here and until that happens, I think they remain.

Well the 67s went through Dawlish about 1pmish (wasn't checking time, was busy making sand Kirbys on the beach!) on Friday

Ok thanks for your responses.

I think it's likely FGW's LHCS services will be running for some time due to the delays in 172 production which will allow 150s to be cascaded from LM and LOROL to FGW.

Still, if possible I'll aim for the 11:02 from Taunton and see whether that's top and tailed by two 57s.

67 and 57 diagrams both still running to the end of the current timetable in december so I would recomend changing just to get them to or from your desination

I'd have to warn the saying, a train in the platform is worth two on the departure board ;)
