Hi everyone,
I have finally got my interview date with FGW Swansea, Train Manager position. I'm really excited and looking forward to it, I have started to do all my prep work for my skills and experience that I would like to talk about. Has anyone got any tips and suggestions that I should be ready for, interview questions, examples that sort of thing.
Cheers for reading

In your interview, you're going to want to talk about your ability to work to rules, to ensure safety of yourself and others and (despite the role being about safety) you're really going to want to go to town when talking about your customer service experience.

I don't work for FGW, but I'd expect general questions about your experiences and probably some scenario questions to see you put these in to action.

I'd happily talk about my experience with the interview you are about to go through, but I didn't succeed, so I'm not a great role model.

Good luck! Swansea is a rathole in the backend, I enjoyed my experience of being able to see part of it.

Thanks guys
I have 20 years experience of a customer facing role along with working in a busy warehouses with forklifts and high level racking so I feel confident talking about customers, safety and cash handling.
Termy please feel free to talk about your experience with the Swansea interview, even if you were unsuccessful your knowledge would still be worth sharing.
Cheers
