FGW in the West Midlands

I think I asked a question about this before in another thread but can't really find it but never mind.

Anyway i would like to know where do FGW run to / from within the West Midlands because apparently you can use a West Midlands Day Ranger on there services so :-

A-Do they run to / from Birmingham

B-What Rolling Stock is used (Surely it cannot be a 142/143)

In the area covered by the West Midlands Day Ranger, FGW run between Hereford & Worcester - they don't go to Birmingham. Rolling stock, as far as I'm aware is HSTs or Turbos for the London trains and also 150s/158s are the usual stock for the Malvern/Worcester to Westbury via Temple Meads services. Unless 14xs and 153s are banned, I am sure there's also the possibility of those services going up there - even if they may not be scheduled I've seen units such as 158s on Severn Beach Line so I think anything may be possible!

12.49 GMV-WEY 150 (often 158)
14.49 GMV-WEY 158'/9 (3car)
18.54 GMV-WEY 150

Note also there is a 17.02 Worcs. F. St - Soton which is 153.

Even though those trains are booked for those units, there is still every possibility that a different unit may turn up. Had quite a few 150s and 2x153s on Severn Beach Line lately, plus even heard of the 158s making a comeback!

153s make unusual appearances up that way, I've even seen a photo of a 143 at Great Malvern.
