FGW Assessment Customer Service Role

Hello,

I have an assessment centre I am attending soon. I applied for a Customer Service role. I have been told by First Great Western that on the day I will be doing tests that have been designed by them.

I would like to know if anyone has been to an assessment for FGW, for any customer service position. If so could you advise me on what kind of tests I should be expecting to do, on the day?

I am bit nervous not knowing any background information on which kinds of tests I will be doing?

If any of you guys out there have been and I would be so grateful if you can share your experience .

Hi

The role comes under Customer Service which has a few roles they are recruiting for: Gateline Assistant, Service Delivery Assistants, Customer Sales Advisor, Station Assistant,Ticket Examiner. They are all the positions that are under Customer Service position I applied for.

Now I am attending an assessment where I have to do tests.

So you've applied for all the roles (separate applications) you've listed?

For example then - ATE (Assistant Ticket Examiner) assessments would have a ticket selling and checking assessment.

A service delivery assistant (Dispatcher) would have a concentration test (dots or scaat) a rules assessment (read a passage and answer questions).

You'll be given a full assessment centre preparation pack, so I wouldn't worry to much about it.

Sorry for necro but what sort of tests did you have to take on the assessment centre? I've also been invited to an assessment for the same role.
