Sadly, I believe the Jubilee branding is going to be removed from 43186. It has just passed my house house on the 0945 Paddington to Swansea and it is currently all white and looks as if it is ready to be pulled off. Although it travelled quite fast so I couldn't really see all of it.

It's in an advert livery for HP. A friend who works for FGW, has just posted a photo of it on Facebook.

I've put the image below, but if it doesn't work just click here.

Hmm, interesting development. I know Barbie is skint, but I didn't envisage her selling her body! Those front corners are going to look great in sh*t brown after a few 125mph blasts to Pad and back. I do hope this isn't the start of a new 'cash for anything' era :/

Having said that, the Jubilee effort wasn't brilliant!

Wondered what the heck that was. Flashed past me at Bridgend. Thought an EC powercar had been borrowed or something.

43148 has the same livery and I saw it working the 1C09 1000 London Paddington - Paignton around Flax Bourton this morning.

I like how someone on FB commented 'finally a full white powercar'..erm not quite. Still blue on the front and top roof bit. Looks better than some other liveries (the old Thameslink splash of colours livery for instance) but not that great. I don't know, the way it just 'ends' at the front, doesn't seem to match with the blue front.
Bit like the way the Swiss advert on the Class 319 where the front cab end is still in Southern Green and the advert just...ends

Shame you can't use the said product on the HSTs as they don't have wifi

You can still use 'offline' apps. Only need the Internet for web browsing, downloading updates, streaming video/audio.

FGW HST's are the only HST fleet without wi-fi aren't they? Most long distance trains have WI-FI, and so it shouldn't be a problem.

It's to tie in with a promotion HP are doing - their sales reps are on that train trying to convince people to buy one of their tablets.

I'm sure the people with their Nexuses, iPads and Samsung Galaxys will be convinced.

Especially after HP announced there withdrawal from the tablet market after the last disastrous effort they put in.

A bit harsh. The touchpad had great potential. It should've been on sale for more than 2 minutes tho
