Ffestiniog round robin

I'm thinking of doing the Ffestiniog round robin sometime within the next month. I can't find any peak time restrictions on it on the National Rail or Arriva Trains Wales websites however, are there any? Most round robins seem to have them.
Also, am I correct in thinking it is invalid on Virgin Trains?
Has anyone else done this? What are the recommended stopping points/places to eat etc?
I'll be getting on at Crewe, btw.

If there were any time restrictions on this ticket, I think it might be difficult to do the trip ina day, given the sparse services on the Cambrian Coast and Conwy Valley lines, not to mention the Festiniog service!

The NRE site does say the ticket is valid at any time, but at the moment it's full of errors! However, there is no mention of any time restrictions on the ATW website, so I would take a print of that, although I doubt any of their on train staff would challenge the ticket.

OK thanks... I was thinking it might be a problem otherwise, especially since I have to factor in the number 85 bus to Crewe also.
