Few questions, I've put them together because I'm not sure if some have been answered already and apologies if that is so...

1) Am I correct TPE will be recieving absolutely NO new/cascaded stock in the near future, and that capacity will only be created by transferring the exsisting 185s off the Scotland services?

2) Any reason why EMT have left 3 153s out of the repainting scheme? this because EMT are tied up with 158 refurbishment?

3) ATW' attempts to repaint 158s have been pitiful. Why is it taking them so long??

4) Do FGW operate a restaurant service on long distance HST services and have a special restaurant car in use... I'm sure they used to

3) Possibly because they are needed because of 175s crap reliability

Correct. 350s will be sent to TPE once electrification is under way, allowing strengthening of services with the extra 185s released. The cancelled 202 DMU car order from DfT was meant to include extra for TPE, but it has been postponed/cancelled.

Indeed, the Pullman restaurant service does still exist on 2 services each way, I think..

Errm Nope. It can be a 401, 402, 407, 408 or 409 ranges.

I don't really think strengthening is the right word, considering the released 185s will only be returning to the services they originally, and were intended to work.

Yes my main interest at the moment is TPE because surely this is going to end in disaster unless new carriages are ordered. Am I right production issues prevent this. We woudnt be in this sticky mess if 8 carriage 'real trains' were ordered to begin with

so the restaurants have restaurant seating and if so any photos? were these refurbished too? or do they use a First Class vehicle? It's just I remember standard class passengers used to be called up. Not having ever had enough money to sample it I am afraid I do not really understand how it works.!

No they just put table cloths on the tables in the seated part of the coach, and part of coach G if needed
