Didn't know I was the only coaster nerd here! Yeah nothing beats a B&M coaster, so smooth and the roar sound they make (Especially on Nemesis at Alton Towers) is just epic.

My railway fetishes:

• The noise that some electric trains such as Desiro's, 323's and London Underground 1996 stock make on arrival and departure
• The noise of 220/221/222 engines when stationary
• Passing through stations at high speed
• Automated announcements at stations

I once managed to give an ex (I wonder why) girlfriend the idea that I thought the sound of Paxman Valentas, Deltics and Thumpers at full power was better than sex.

You must have been having some spectacularly lousy sex, then.

I must say I get quite a lot of pleasure out of bringing a Cl315 with squealy brakes into Liv St. I just give it step one brake and leave it applied to get maximum squeal. It's not a fetish, but it does make me smile.

As for what goes on behind closed doors, I'm not going to say. You'll find out soon enough if you're lucky enough to get invited in (not that many here would qualify for an invite).
