Hello all,
Just trying to drum up some interest. I need around 30 people interested to make it worthwhile but it doesn't matter that much if its less.
I'm proposing a date for Saturday 11th Feburary 2017 for a ride around Wiltshire on Chandlers operated coach Dennis Javelin (Caetano bodied) T701 SUT.
The trip will first start at Westbury Station at around 12 with DAF Bova Futura WJ52 MTE (ex-Webberbus, since converted to 70 seats) which will take you to the Chandlers yard, which currently we have two other Bova's, a Jonckheere Mistral amongst other vehicles including a 16 plate Irizar i8.
Here we will swap vehicles and have T701 SUT for the day. Not sure of the exact routeing just yet but it will be announced way before the date. There will be photostops and a break in a town with a 'spoons (Devizes perhaps)
Then its back to Westbury station for about 17:30, maybe running via Trowbridge to see the other Javelin M460 DDE.
Main reason for using WJ52 at the start is because unless you go to school at St Augustines its difficult to do. Rarely if ever does Private Hire or Tesco shopper runs. The Javelin is the same and isn't going to be around forever.
Any questions feel free to ask. Costing is not going to be any higher than £10. If there is a decent interest and turnout then I can lower it to around £5-£7.
