On FCC's timetable, I've noticed that the Sutton trains that stop at all stations to St. Albans/Luton are listed as not having first class available - does this mean that first class is declassified should a 319 with first class turn up, as happens on the Great Northern side?

Also, what if you're travelling to St. Albans, where first class fares are available, but board one of these stopping services - is it declassified from the point of departure?

Thanks! :)

you are correct if the train is shown as having first class i.e there is the 1 symbol above the train in the timetable then 1st class is first class, if the train does not have the 1 symbol above the train, then it is an all standard class train, even if a unit with first class arrives, so yes it will be declassified.
