FCC, still awaiting training!

Hi everyone!

I completed all my assessments/interviews for trainee driver in June!
As I know many others have!

I applied for Bedford, as I have noticed a couple of other people have, that are still in the 'holding pot'!

Does anyone have any idea/ heard any rumours, of when training positions are likely to open up again. I know I have a 3 year slot after passing that I am validated for, is it likely to ever be in that 3 years.
At the managers interview I was told there was a possibility of another training intake for march, after the initial September intake.
But I imagine I would have heard something by now!

Is anyone in the same boat?

They did a TL course last September, next course starts in March so if there's another course coming up then I guess it could be this upcoming September for TL. If that is the case then I wouldn't worry if you haven't heard anything for a September 2013 start date yet.

Either way, they need alot of drivers and I understand it, as soon as one course finishes, another starts.

Plenty of qualified drivers to get through aswell so that will be the priority as they need less training. In regards to depot, have you looked at any others as bedford has some of the worst turns seen to man lol. If yiu fancy starting at 0240 and finishing about the same then go for it.
