The FCC website is currently showing a couple of trains (St Albans/Sutton) cancelled due to "Disruptive Passengers". Any idea what the story is?

Perhaps due to passengers from Sutton? That'll do as an excuse. I have worked in Sutton and have friends who live there... put it this way, they know perfectly well that trouble flaring up would not be a surprise. :|

No idea. But I heard it being announced at Blackfriars when I was on my way home. I'd like to know too.

Two separate incidents, the first was a passenger taken ill with a suspected heart attack and in the other some dirty little scroat took a dump in one of the coaches

to be fair I had to lock a coach out after a very drunk woman soiled herself and left a big, smelly brown stain on her seat, yuk!

Actually it was the other way around. Driver changing ends in siding at St Albans and it had to be taken out of service as it was unfit for passengers.

Second one was a fair while later with passenger collapsing. Major delay caused by awaiting ambulance.

Also disruptive passengers on a joint Southeastern/FCC with multiple passcoms pulled.

I'd have made them clean it up. Why would anyone do that?

I caught a bus from Watford to Hatfield (Arriva/TGM/Greenline/Sovereign ;) 724) a couple of weeks ago and two rows of seats were guarded by yellow and black tape with a handwritten "Seats out of bounds" or similar sign affixed. I wondered why... and curiosity got the better of me. As I got off, I saw 2 M&S bags... one on the seat hiding a large puddle of urine and one of the red Christmassy ones containing/covering up a pile of sick!

Mind you, I would rather the driver continued with the bus like that, rather than cancel the last bus back home! (I don't think they have anywhere they can be cleaned, as the depot is another 2 hours drive away in Essex and I presume it happened around Heathrow/Uxbridge way!)

The one time I travelled by bus to Cambridge (as opposed to X5 coach or train) I used the 7 from Saffron Walden. I went upstairs - and the driver immediately asked me to come downstairs again. He then went as far as to shut off the upstairs for the whole journey; needless to say, after Addenbrookes Hospital we were full. It turned out a girl had been sick on the southbound journey...

He didn't say anything to suggest it was alcohol-related, and neither did it smell that way. I should hope so at 12:00!

On the other hand...

I have a nasty memory of Chippenham Bus Station, in which a youth boarded the 55A in Calne and abused the driver all the way to Chippenham. Whilst I was waiting for the 231 back to Bath, the same thug assaulted a pregnant girl literally right behind me! He then insisted on knowing the time, so I told him for my own safety. He then called the other ten or so witnesses a certain word that rhymes with "punt" and begins with the third letter of the alphabet...

Thursday 22nd October 2009 at roughly 20:00. I'm so sad

I've been told of what a few people used to do, including a pair that liked to smear all over th train afterwards. On the one that did it on a heater to give th carriage a special aroma!

My Dad told me of a prank a 'aquaintnce' of his did years ago on a Football special where the toilet lights were removed leaving them in darkness then smearing everything with faeces so anyone who tried to use the loo got covered. And people wonder why football specials don't run anymore!

And I wonder what the forum's reaction would have been if some big guy at the back of the bus had got up, grabbed the little scroat, frog-marched him to the door and threw him off on to the pavement?

That's why the disabled toilets on trains like 377s are so big. With any luck, at least the drunk folks may be able to notice and stumble into one, but unfortunately the deliberate abusers of the service will, of course, stay well away!

I remember this happened a few years back and iirc the police were able to get DNA evidence from the mess, (happened every Saturday) and got a match to someone already on there books, who then spent some time behind bars at her majesty's pleasure.

I thought it was well known that BTP didn't attend incidents like this..well according to the postings of a lot of crew on another thread.

I did request them with quite a bit of time. I suppose it depends if they actually have any offers able to attend. Revenue Incidents do seem to be regarded a little low on the list of priorities though!

I've had two thieves arrested while on a train in Poole, around 5 years ago. Tried to lock themselves in the toilet, dirty buggers.

Never thought they would be much DNA in poo, at least not as much as in spit or blood. Mind you, after a disgusting incident in one of our mess rooms where somebody had stuck snots on the wall in the toilet and graded them out of 10 on post it notes a notice came up stating samples had been sent off for DNA.

I was on a train on friday with a guy who needed the toilet ro find it locked out of use, he was debating urination in the corridor connection, so in the end I ended up suggesting he try opening the door of the 150's toilet by hand, as it seemed better than letting him carry on with the alternatve

I know a colleague who was dispatching from a South Wales station once, when he felt a warm feeling on his leg - some drunk was p*ss*ng on him.

I once heard that a Barnstaple to Exmouth train was taken out of service at Exeter St Davids so that the toilet cubicles could be cleaned. Apparently they were smeared with excrement, urine and other bodily fluids - I suspect that a meeting of a certain community based around a particular animal held a clandestine meeting there :P
