Ouch - now been changed to 40 minute delays until further notice which won't be fun for the evening rush!
They are a pretty unlucky TOC (with what they've been given and these recent faults) but they just don't seem to deal with the problems very well!

...and to continue it, all the trains so far have been delayed (with at least one service cancelled) due to over-running engineering work!

An update on the engineering work mentioned by Class377.

First Capital Connect said:
Over-running engineering work is causing disruption in the Bedford area.

Because of this, there are delays of up to 30 minutes to trains between Kettering and Luton. These delays will continue until approximately 11:00.

FCC (and EC, HT and GC) got pretty hammered Friday evening in and out of Kings Cross thanks to a jumper at Alexandra Palace- incident must have happened about half six or so- but they did manage to get the slow lines open before too long (the 1815 from Cambridge ended up just over an hour late because of this).
