Following the fav Christmas song, what about the best Christmas Movies. For me its:

Scrooged
Its a wonderful life
Polar Express

There are so many others, but those three, on a dark evening with a roaring fire, the lights on the tree and a glass of port. Thats Christmas.

What others?

Do you mean....

Movies with a Christmas theme?
Movies set at Christmas time?
Movies traditionally seen at Christmas?

For the first....erm.....err......I'll come back to that I think. For the second, Die Hard (although The Long Kiss Goodnight is quite close). For the third, Star Wars.

Still can't think of a good Christmas themed movie.....erm.....No, not one.

As the book starts off on the night of Christmas Eve, a young boy is lying in bed waiting to hear the sound of Santa Claus's sleigh bells. Suddenly, he hears loud rumbling outside on the street as a magical train called The Polar Express pulls up in front of his house. The boy ventures outside and is invited by the train's mysterious conductor to journey to the North Pole. The train is filled with children, all dressed in their pyjamas, who sing Christmas carols, eat candies, and drink hot chocolate as rich as melted chocolate bars and the train rumbles on.

Do you think we could encourage them to bid for the catering contract on whichever franchises are coming up for renewal soon?
Altough I must say I'm not sure about this Mysterious conductor. :-?

There as one I saw once on DVD on a Coach en route to a Christmas market somewhere (Bath, i think, but that's not strictly relevant), which involved Santa's HQ at the North Pole being under threat from Evil Oil Prospectors. It involved some quiite interesting Snowmobile action. I never did find out what it was called, or who was in it. But then, I never rcognise anyone anyway, so even if it was someone well known I'd probably have no idea.

:-?

Muppets Christmas Carol!

Christmas with the Kranks is good too.

There's alot of Christmas movies which are far too cheesy. Sort of lets them down a bit.
