390's are just fantastic.
Not just because they are fast and tilt, but because of the operational stress they are under.
Sit above a bogie and you will feel how hard these trains are working to keep things smooth and comfortable over rickety old track. Then think of the high frequency timetable that they run to, the amount of people that they carry and the comfort that they offer.
No train in the UK works harder than an Pendo or produces such excellent consistent results. A truly fantastic train that we really should be all singing the praises of, regardless of whether you think the interior is cramped or not.

But yeah, pendos best for long distance, 350s best for commuting. the WCML really has the best trains on the network
