I have being buying Traction for a few years now but this change in style is too modern, it no longer has the feel of nostalga about it.
Sure the photos bring back fond memories but the lay out when you open it no longer fills me with the same feeling of tactile contact with the past.
The lay out comes over as bits and pieces of articles, were as before there were two are three lengthy articles side by side.
The worst part though is the front cover, the big cover picture that is supposed to help sell a mag, get you to pick it up in the first place, is ruined by the small insert pictures (whose natural place is at the bottom) cutting down the size of the photo, it just dosn't look right.
It may just be me but the old style was better, a case of a new owner wanting to put his own stamp on a product rather than accepting sombody elses ideas, like a new football manger changing a good team to one of his own and we've all seen what happened there.
