Favourite international wayside stations?

I know we have an ongoing thread on favourite stations which seems to concentrate on the big European termini but I wondered what our favourite small stations and halts were.

One of my favourite spots is the little station at Tha Phra in North East Thailand just a few Km south of Khon Kaen. Like many Thai country stations it is immaculately kep and has the block instruments and lever frame in the little bay window area

trains are a mix of first generation DMUs very similar to ours, loco hauled long distance passenger trains and some decent freight trains. Cement, L.P.G and sugar trains are almost daily and there are quite a few military specials as well. across the line from the station is a small container facility
that handles bagged sugar and tapiola consignments
