Agreed....the two-tone green-liveried class 47s - with or without steam heating boilers - were far and away the best Freightliner locomotive IMHO.

87/1?

But i voted cl 86
AFAIK the 87/1 was only operated by EWS post privatisation.
The only reason the 86 was included despite being withdrawn is that they were withdrawn quite recently and I notice that Freightliner still haven’t announced that they will be scrapped. Other old locos, like the 57s, are not in this list.
