The older 377s (377 101-119), as well as the 377/3s, win it for me. The 2+2, very comfortable seating throughout these units really makes for a pleasant journey (I don't even mind being caught up in the delays Southern throw at us when travelling on these!).

377 120-139 are not too bad either, but they have 3+2 seating in the middle of each coach, with 2+2 at each end.

As for the younger 377s, again, some of the seating is comfortable (the 2+2 sections, located in the outer coaches), but if you're unlucky enough to be in one of the centre coaches, it's not a pleasant ride!
Yes it's funny because many people are unaware that there is far superior seating only a coach away

Of course people are reluctant to move
The 3+2 seating is awful as you can barely get past the seats let alone with luggage and they get battered as a result

There is a small section of 2+2 in one of these coaches but ironing boards are still used

377120-139 are not liked as regulars queue at the rear coach only to find the high density layout. One of the areas of 2+2 is first class only in the rear coach so there is a bit of a race for the unoccupied remaining 'compartments'

377/6s - great seating layout and strong air con
Least favourite is the 377/3. When you get them on the 10 car it’s just a miriad of cabs and disabled toilets with a smattering of seats

357s, I find that they have the most comfortable seats out of all of them. Not that I'm a big Electrostar fan mind you, far from it!
