mine is 1) Miranda hart and 2) Sarah millican
1) because firstly i love the show and she is just genuinly funny

In no particular order;

Peter Kay-I must have the same sense of humour as him as I get every single joke he does and his observations are spot on.

Michael McIntyre-again must be on the same wavelength, he has me in absolute stitches.

Eric and Ernie- (I do hope I don't have to explain who they were) very very funny, no bad language needed they worked very well together.

I am of the strong opinion that there is no need in comedy to say F*** this and B***** that every 2 seconds. McIntyre and Kay do use the odd expletive but its the exception rather than the norm. I recently went to a Comedy Night and all 3 of them swore like Navvy Troopers and it just wasn't funny. They then referred to a bald man with a stick as a cripple and it just went downhill from there, I'm surprised there wasn't a riot.

Pretty much the same as yours.Also liked Bob Monkhouse.He could come up with a funny line on the spur of the moment.

Frank Carson. I met him once getting off a train in Bournemouth. He made the point of saying Hello. He was an absolute legend in my eyes heard many a time he would crack jokes whether he was on stage or waiting for a train the jokes would flow.

He's excellent but not one of my absolute favourites.
Tim Vine is top for me, I just love those really daft one-liners. Dara Ó Briain would be second, he's very sharp especially with the audience interaction. Eddie Izzard third, just surreal flights of fancy that leave me creased.
And then there's a whole host of others very close together, the aforementioned Mr. Jones, Chris Addison, Bill Bailey, Shappi Khorsandi, Tommy Tiernan, Emo Phillips, Des Bishop, Ed Byrne, Andrew Maxwell, Stephen K. Amos, Rhod Gilbert, Stewart Lee, Marcus Brigstocke, Simon Evans and loads more I've forgotten.

My absolute favourite is Eddie Izzard - seen him live at the Nottingham area, absolutely hilarious evening.

I like a lot of other comedians, but also enjoy Tim Vine, Gary Delaney and the others who do clever one liners. He's not strictly a stand-up but I went to see John Cleese perform his one man show the 'Alimony' tour last year - another great evening, and considering it was a show just telling his life story it was hilariously funny.

I love stand up comedy and could provide an extensive list of my favorite comedians but to keep it short.
The classic comedians that make me laugh over and over again are:
Billy Connolly ( I once saw him live, and no matter how many times I hear it the Cardinal's school visit story always has me in stitches)
The Two Ronnies
Jasper Carrot (The first person that made me realise what Newark is an anagram of )
Roy 'Chubby' Brown (I know he's not everyone's taste, but for me he's still rather funny)

More recent people that have tickled my funny bone are:
Franky Boyle (just hilarious at times)
Amed Jallile (I know I have mis-spelled his name but you get the idea)
Sarah Millican can make me laugh sometimes too.
