Hail all! <D
Here are my lists...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Favorites:
  • FOC: GBRf - Simply because IMO their 66s and 68s look good in that green livery!
  • Loco: Class 43 - Still the World's fastest Diesel locomotive, even after 30 years of operation! The 9F is also worth a mention simply because it's so damn Metal!!! <D
  • Unit: Class 370 APT - A perfectly designed train that, sadly, was never given the chance to prove itself as one of the fastest and most capable in history. <(
  • Station: Birmingham NS - Not only a very convenient, well served and easy to use interchange...But ye can see just about anything there as far as passenger stock goes!
  • Main Line: WCML every time - Even though the ECML can also accommodate 140+mph operation, the WCML does the same through some very curvy terrain! <D
  • TOC: This one's a bit too generalistic for me to answer in this way, so I'm going to break it down into more individual bits...
    .
    • Reliability: South West Trains - Although they used to be terrible, they've come a long way since they first took up the franchise.
    • Comfort: First ScotRail - Although that's primarily because I like the Caledonian Sleepers a great deal. Chiltern rank a close second for me, though.
    • Customer Service: Virgin - Always been very helpful whether I've had a query or complaint.
    • Value for money: Chiltern - After all, no-one else offers a return fare anywhere near as good as £14.20 for Woking to Birmingham!
    • Rolling stock: Virgin and NXEC - 390's are one of my better liked trains, and the IC-225 is a close relative of the APT.
    • Speed of service: Virgin - They and NXEC can both run at 140mph, but the terrain on the WCML makes a journey with Virgin much more fun!
    • Overall experience: Virgin again - Mainly because I'm one of the few enthusiasts who actually like Pendolinos...But also because a journey with Virgin normally means that I'm getting to head North again! <D
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Least Favorites:
  • FOC: I'm not really into freight, so no real opinion.
  • Loco: No real opinion.
  • Unit: Class 350/450 regional Desiros - More plastic than Barbie, gets overtaken by stationary objects, and even less comfortable then NY-MTA subway stock!
  • Station: All London termini - Arrival at one of those generally means that I have to spend the following hour wading through LUL's sewer system.
  • Main Line: HS1 - Although it's got a half decent speed limit on it, it's only available to international trains and unbashable on normal tickets. Furthermore it's located in the south, and very nearly destroyed a major Norse burial site during construction.
  • TOC: Again, I've broken this down into more individual sections;
    .
    • Unreliability: No real opinion - All TOCs have their ups and downs.
    • Discomfort: Virgin - Despite having a very good idea of weekend passenger numbers by now, they still insist on running 220s and 390s as single units and leaving about one seat for every four passengers!
    • Customer service: SWT, FGW-link and AToC - All three of them have refused refunds to which I was legitimateley entitled, and they deliberateley try to side-step refunding customers at every stage.
    • Value for money: Eurostar - Fares are high and uncompetative. Plus SNCF/SNCB/DB railcards are valid for full discounts, but NR ones aren't valid at all for some reason.
    • Rolling stock: Arriva XC - The 221s have tilting suspension for a very good reason...But AXC never seem to have theirs turned on!
    • Speed of service: Treniau Arriva Cymru - The one TOC that doesn't seem to know what a regional, limited, or semi-fast service is!
    • Overall anti-experience: No overall opinion.

Since when do GBRF have a Green livery? I think you mean FL, but they will be class 70s now apparently due to most of the class 68 being taken up by pendos, so they want to leave them clear for new build EMUs

TOC: WSMR

FOC: DRS

Loco: Class 40

Unit: Class 350. One of the very few comfortable and pleasant units to travel on.

Line: West Highland, Highland Mainline, Kyle line and North Wales Coast.

TOC: Virgin. Yeah, I can get to London in 90 minutes. But 90 minutes is more than enough in a Pendolino!

FOC: Dunno

Loco: 73 on diesel!

Unit: 390

Line: Hammersmith - Riddings

Station: Birmingham New Street.

what? that don`t make sence? Class 68`s been used by pendos? pendos are 390`s and it wont be a unit as TOPS classes locos from 01-99 and units 100+
