nope but on our 150`s they fall apart, still nice though

i still love the 465s,but i think the seat thing is one of the things of there personalitys,..anyway do your 150s have them seats that you can just take off and put back like a cusion? and can i say even though connex were crap i can remeber when they ruled the SE division the seats were stuck down and never could be taken off, strange but true!

Just curious as to why you prefer these to 350/1s? Everybody I have spoken to on the subject prefers the 1st series, much more spacious.

Anyway, I have zero interest enthusiast wise in any unit dating from about 1970 and very little for any unit before that. The one thing I do have a bit of a soft spot for though are the former Deutsche Reichsbahn "Pig Taxis" , spent many a happy hour on those bouncing down now-closed ex GDR branch lines.

I travel on the 390's regularly and from a practical point of view, they are more than suitable trains. From an enthusiast point of view, they are great looking trains.

Also like the 350's (don't know the difference between the /1 and /2 so will be naive on that).

My choices shall be based obviously on personal experiences. So first up, and to start a separate debate now doubt HST, then one that revolutionised my local line 323, rapid stop start and fast too. 185 is a good mile muncher and 390 for the speed increase they've brought and tilting largely properly (i'd love to photograph one running like the apt did with only a few tilting, but I know it's all or nothing with them)

if im honest i dont really know  i liked the /1 when i started filming/photoing and 350105 was the first ever train i filmed, (it was at coventry last year), i do find the 350/1 to be better space wise but i think me likeing the /2 has something to do with standing at coventry in a snowy Jan/Feb and seing them out on what was knowen as "Special" got some nice shots of them like this too

My favourite units running today are - without a doubt - the 350s, especially the /1s (though the /2s have a nicer interior colour scheme!). They're just nice to be on - spacious, refined, comfortable, they feel solid and long-lasting - and I like the way they look (LM livery is great on 'em) and the way they sound!

I'm quite fond of 180s & 185s in terms of DMUs running today. While they're unreliable, squeak appallingly and (in the case of the 175s) look rather odd, they have the best interior ambience of any DMU running on the UK network today - light, airy, lots of tables, lowish seatbacks, nicely padded seats, etc...

The 442s before their refurbishment were best of all though...
