I bought a Panasonic DMC-Fz20 bridge camera a week ago now and I have noticed that on some photos bright white areas come out pink - but this only happens on ISO 80 and ISO 100, and I have found that if I decrease the exposure value a little, I can get around it. If I use ISO 200 or ISO 400, the pictures come out perfectly clear though no matter what the brightness.
I have also noticed that videos tend to do this as well however I seem to have gotten around it also but this time by increasing the exposure value.
I got the camera off Amazon for a bargain price and since it works well otherwise, and I have found workarounds for the above, it doesn't bother me that much, but, is there a chance it could get steadily worse? I am hoping not but if the prognosis is bad I will end up sending it back.
it is kind of odd that lowering the sensor's sensitivity exacerbates the issue, I would expect, if anything, the higher sensitivities to be worse.
