Check the timings of the 0732 out of Portsmouth this morning......an hour late at Havant, made it to 49 mins behind at Barnham by missing out the intermediate stations .....(09:05).....then somehow the train left Horsham at 09:08, not bad for a fast journey that takes 20-25 mins!!!!

I'm guessing the Delay Repay stats will show this train hit Victoria within the threshold? But in real life it looks like the stats are incorrect

To me it looks like they held the Bognor portion for a time then let it go on its own?

I suspect the Bognor portion simply left Horsham for Victoria at 09:08 without the Portsmouth portion (which likely terminated at Barnham). But as you say, Delay Repay systems are unlikely to cope with this and may see no qualifying delay at all (since the Bognor portion arrived at Victoria only 14L). In fairness it's very much an edge case scenario, but if there any issues then getting in touch with customer services ought to rectify it.

That would seem the only logical conclusion. The Portsmouth portion arrived at Barnham at 09:05 and has no departure time; it shows "Cancelled" at Horsham. As the Bognor portion left Horsham at 09:08, I'm thinking that 3 minutes to make the journey and join the front 4 would have made for quite a lively run up the Arun Valley for the rear 4 coaches and the attachment would have been pretty alarming to say the least (remaining seated would certainly have been advisable).
