The announcements of platform changes here really are appalling

Due to a fatality at Lichfield Trent Valley this morning, quite a few Virgin services that would normally have been routed via the Trent Valley have been diverted by way of Penkridge, Bescot and Coventry. This has indeed included a couple of North Wales services, worked by Voyagers.

I was on a voyager that the train infront hit somebody at Lichfield TV and we were diverted via Coventry, Birmingham International, Bescot, Penkridge. This was also the route of the late Wrexham and Shropshire, excpet they took a left near Walsall and went on to Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury.

Also yes, Pedo's no longer make it to Wales. Even the last Pendo service to Wales turned up as a double Voyager.

And on platform changes, I agree! When I was there, I don't think one train made it from the platform it was orignally itended to go from!

1R24 (221101 and 117) hit a person at Curborough, damaged with an air leak. Normal working restored at 1100 and 4124 minutes delay as of 12.44pm.

If I am correct, the only scheduled 390 VT passenger service that should run non stop via Cov (and BHI) is the 0730 BHM-EUS

Carnage this morning. LM as useful as a square wheel. Took me 4.5 hrs to do a standard 2hr jaunt from Liverpool to MK. No info as per usual coming down from above, best the Guard could do was get Twitter out and read it aloud down the PA.

On the plus side, had a grand tour of the West Midlands this morning once I got past Crewe.

Still running with delays now.
