I have noticed that, at Farringdon (National Rail) concourse, the Elizabeth line departure board is listed chronologically for each direction, but not for Thameslink services. Instead, on the right of it, there is an A-Z station list showing Thameslink destination.

In my opinion, the A-Z board is not user friendly unlike the Elizabeth line board where you know what services are coming, especially in some situations the A-Z board may show the train time for my destination being more than half an hour away.

What I want to know is when will the next few northbound trains come and where they will go, so I can board the appropriate one. The Elizabeth line boards serve this purpose perfectly.

Why is there a different treatment to these two National Rail services serving the same purpose?
