The £8/£15/£20 fares I mention show up in Avantix (ticket types GA2, GA5, and GAX) under the route SN SUPER GROUP; I can only assume they are outside the scope of the discount. They are advance singles for a group of 2, 5, or 10 people who must travel together at all times. Only one ticket is issued per group.

Some fare oddities were 'corrected' last month by lowering the price of the fare where it was cheaper to split or travel short. However, that consequently resulted in other popular fares being increased by above the average. I can think of a few set by Northern Rail where this has happened.
