Fares differences between Railcards and Groupsave

I have noticed today using Trainsplit (and subsequently checked on BR Fares) that Groupsave-discounted fares are 5p lower than Railcard-discounted fares. I assume this is because Groupsave is still a 34% discount, whereas Railcards are now 33.34%.

I don't think this is intentional, is anyone aware of any plans to change the Groupsave discount to 33.34%?

Just 33.4%, not 33.34 - the data can only do 1 decimal place. Funnily enough we noticed that today as well

The ~1/3 Groupsave discount proportions have not changed. The ~1/3 railcard ones have.

Presumably this is so that the separate ticket types (e.g. GR3) don't have to have their price re-keyed en masse to 5p or 10p more.

Of course the GSV discount and the GR3 (etc.) ticket types could have been allowed to be different instead, but then that's just a different inconsistency isn't it.

Somewhat, but the non GS3 railcard fake groupsave that some TOCs do instead of joining the main one has always been an inconsistent mess, so GS3 and them being inconsistent wouldn't be new. At least it would be on distinct routes, rather than on the same route
