Fare Manchester to IOW

Hi guys

I`m going down for the IOW steam gala Friday evening 3rd August 2018, returning Sunday evening 5th August, just looking for the cheapest way to do it including ferrys?

when I last looked for relatives it was cheaper to use hovercraft (search via ryde hoverport)

National Express? ~£65-70 return including Hovercraft or Wightlink Ferry but takes a long time.

I`ll check that if its through the night and gets me in at a decent time in the morning it might work out better that train, because the train involves a few changes and hanging around, I can sleep on the coach, thank you

Just checked the coaches, cheapest £28 but it still involved changing and doesnt get me in until 11.00pm so too late, train at £95 seems the best option for Friday night, gets me in at 08.00 sat morning, thanks anyway guys.
