Fare evasions - Invalid railcard

I responded on the 21st of January, their letter dated 19th January. I haven’t yet received the letter however I assume it will be with me in the next few days, as I have frequently been putting my reference number in and yesterday it came up with to settle £74. It was a one off offence. I wasn’t worried as haven’t looked at this thread it seems people were being responded to quicker after sending their letter. I had contacted GTR and they did say they were busy. I have been worrying A LOT the last month so do try not to.

I believe this might be the website being referred to. Note that it redirects to another website and I cannot guarantee it is legitimate (others may be able to and I would not make any payment through it until they have) but it’s the only GTR payment portal I can find and other than the redirect I can’t see any red flags - it doesn’t just accept any name or reference as I’d expect a fake site to!

Every indication is that https://apps1.raspberrysoftware.com/gtr/payment/whattopay (the site that the GTR | Penalty Payment site http://payments.gtrailway.com/ redirects to) is legitimate. Personally I think it's very poor because it looks unprofessional and a bit scammy even though it's not.

£15.90 Anytime fare plus £50-60 admin would be typical for GTR.
