Your reply to SWR is not exactly ideal. You claim that you acted in a moment of confusion - they aren’t going to believe that. They aren’t going to be particularly bothered that you felt intimidated, you broke the law and were dealt with in the same way everyone else who does so is. It gives far too many excuses and not enough unconditional apology.
Please don’t take this the wrong way - I absolutely sympathise with your circumstances and I am really sorry you’re going through this. It’s just that SWR are not really going to care.
SWR are a fairly easy company to deal with, and will usually settle out of court in cases like yours. They are used to people lying to them when confronted, so while apologising for doing so is good, it doesn’t need to be massively focused on.
Now that you have replied, you just need to wait and see what they say. Come back to us with their response when it arrives and we can help.
Is there anything you can do in the meantime to help reduce your transport costs? Railcards are good but do require you to spend some money up front. If you’re on Universal Credit do speak to the job centre and see if there’s any help they can give you with transport costs.
