Before the experts come along, they'll need more information.

When did this happen?
From where?
To where?
Which fares did you short?
Did the TOC stop you at gates or due to an operation online?
What was their original email?
What was your response?

They stopped me at Winchester but I boarded that train from Southampton Airport parkway, though my journey started from Milbrook Station
It happened in September, I got the letter 2nd of December
I just got the response I posted today

They discovered 9shortfares and 7out of the 9happens to be true

Attached is the email I received and the response I gave

Your reply to SWR is not exactly ideal. You claim that you acted in a moment of confusion - they aren’t going to believe that. They aren’t going to be particularly bothered that you felt intimidated, you broke the law and were dealt with in the same way everyone else who does so is. It gives far too many excuses and not enough unconditional apology.

Please don’t take this the wrong way - I absolutely sympathise with your circumstances and I am really sorry you’re going through this. It’s just that SWR are not really going to care.

SWR are a fairly easy company to deal with, and will usually settle out of court in cases like yours. They are used to people lying to them when confronted, so while apologising for doing so is good, it doesn’t need to be massively focused on.

Now that you have replied, you just need to wait and see what they say. Come back to us with their response when it arrives and we can help.

Is there anything you can do in the meantime to help reduce your transport costs? Railcards are good but do require you to spend some money up front. If you’re on Universal Credit do speak to the job centre and see if there’s any help they can give you with transport costs.

Is this email the standard response that SWR give after submitting a response?

We don't see enough of these to be able to say - but on reading it through, that's a fair assessment of the email in post #1. It's essentially a holding letter so the OP knows that their response has been received but there could still be further action.

Alright
I hope this helps someone else
I have been contacted through a letter to my address
Was asked to either
1,explain further why I won’t be able to pay what I owe

2 pay what I owe

3 ,not pay and wait for court order
I opted for option 2

An opportunity to thank you all and also thank God for coming through for me
I am grateful
I have learnt and I will never do that again
