Young Persons railcards (or 16-25 Railcards as they are now called) have a minimum fare of £8 single or £16 return before 1000hrs mon-fri except during July and August. It doesn't alter the Peak Travelcard fare at anytime, although a Saver Return fare would be restricted at £8 rather than £16.

The cheapest through ticket would be:

Standard Day Return (SDR) Woking to Zone U1 with 16-25 card.......£16

OR:

Standard Day Single (SDS) Woking to Zone U1 with 16-25 card.........£8
Standard Day Single (SDS) Zone U1 to Woking with 16-25 card.........£7.55
