They use Class 158s, so yes you can walk between carriages. Are the trains on the far north line connected so you can walk from one train to another from the inside?
Not anyone who knows what they are talking about. There are long sections of >60mph running so they wouldn't be suitable. But I'm sure someone will be along shortly to suggest using a D train![]()
Don't be be crazy, it should be 67s hauling redundant 373 trailer carsBut I'm sure someone will be along shortly to suggest using a D train![]()
Make it Mk3s and I'm in.Or a 37 & MkIs..
Why bi-mode, you've got to be at least 200 miles from the nearest electrified railway?Bi-mode 37's hauling 442's?

26 and mk1s......
The question was answered originally. Can't we have a light hearted bit of banter on here anymore......?
i think the original op was asking a question about the current rolling stock not about what fantasy stock what isnt going to run. anyway it is only single units that run on this line so walking between trains isnt going to be much of a problem the last double units i can mind was when the last train train of the day which combined the kyle and far north train double headed to dingwall then split but i think they both leave at different times now
