Depends on how well they did last season.

I've had to chop and change a few players as well, as I couldn't afford a couple I wanted either.

Can you make unlimited transfers up until the first game? To take care of future transfers etc. If Chelsea bring in Kaka, I want him!

As far as I know you can. After that, it's the 1 free transfer a week rule.

I have completely forgotten about this and I think that I will do pretty poor this season. Most scoring players are far too expensive this season, even the poorer ones.

I think I have managed a pretty decent Villa/Liverpool/Portsmouth side out of the funds available, but it wasn't easy...
