Family Advance Avanti Ticket

Does anyone know can a family advance be changed to 2 standard adult advance tickets. Same date, same train or another same time same day. The children are no longer travelling & conditions say must be at least one child. There seems to be advances available for similar price

Who did you buy the tickets through.

I needed to do this, and I contacted LNER who I bought the tickets through. They told me to buy new tickets, give them the booking confirmation then they would refund the original tickets, minus a small admin fee. That worked well.
