Thats a nice photo. As soon as I saw that cottage I knew it was Dungeness.

Didn't that beach feature in Eastenders a month or so back...? Strange setting really, but still, great shot!

Yeah, the beach and bits of Dungeness did feature in Eastenders around February/March. The Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway wasn't featured though. ad:

Curiously, there are narrow gauge railways on Dungeness other than the RH&DR. Immediately opposite this cottage are some tracks running towards the beach. I think they were used for wagons into which the fish catches were loaded to bring them back across the shingle to the road.

I've noticed them when travelling through Dungeness. The rails are now rusty and they were probably used for the fish catches. Wouldn't of thought they would a have any kind of loco though.
