i realise that this is a real shot in the dark.
when just getting a intrest in trains me and the family did a merrymaker from stourbridge junction to paington,think it was a merrymaker from worcester to paington via birmingham new street.this was with 45022 on a rake of mark 1 compo stock.on the way back the 45 failed in the bromsgrove,we were there for ages before we where rescued.is there anybody out there who nows what rescued us??i now this is a long shot as it was in the early 1980s arround 83/84
